Privacy Policy
Updated June 2026
PennyPath is privacy-first by design. This policy explains what we do — and mostly don't — collect when you use the site.
Last updated: 2026-06-02
Your calculator inputs
Every PennyPath calculator runs on client-side JavaScript. The figures you type — balances, incomes, debts, rates, goals — are used to compute results locally on your device. They are never sent to us, never logged, and never stored on our servers. Close the tab and they're gone.
No accounts required
You don't need to register, sign in, or create a profile to use any tool on PennyPath. We don't ask for personal details to deliver our core service.
What we do collect
Anonymized analytics
We use standard, privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example, how many people viewed a page or which calculators are popular. This is anonymized statistical data (such as page views) and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising partners
PennyPath is ad-supported. Third-party advertising partners — for example, Google AdSense — may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may process data according to their own privacy policies, which we do not control. You can review and adjust how ads are personalized through your Google Ad Settings and similar industry opt-out controls.
Affiliate networks
Some outbound links on PennyPath are affiliate links. When you follow one, the partner's affiliate network may set cookies or process data (per their own policies) to attribute a referral. This lets us earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and it never affects the math or results in our calculators.
Contacting us
If you email us or use our contact form, we use the details you provide (such as your name and email address) solely to respond to your message. We don't sell that information or use it for unrelated purposes. PennyPath does not operate a newsletter or marketing email list.
Cookies
Essential site functionality (such as remembering your light/dark theme preference) may use your browser's local storage. Beyond that, cookies on PennyPath are primarily set by the third-party advertising and affiliate partners described above. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings.
Your choices
- Browser controls: You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage from your browser's privacy settings.
- Ad personalization: Adjust personalized advertising through your ad provider's settings (e.g. Google Ad Settings) or industry opt-out pages.
- Do Not Track: If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, be aware there is no industry-standard response to it; third-party partners handle such signals according to their own policies.
Children
PennyPath is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the site. Continued use of PennyPath after an update means you accept the revised policy.
